Song of the Day

      Simple Plan has HOW MANY tallies?  Well color me surprised.  This is a blatant case of an outside influence helping impact the songs of the day, but I am more than okay with that.  Simple Plan is a really underrated band and while I may not love them like I do Blink-182, Say Anything, & A Day to Remember, they'll always be one of those 2nd tier bands for me.  I can't say I dislike any of their songs, they're extremely catchy and have a slew of fantastic lyrics.  Anywhere Else But Here is the song of the day, strictly because I had no track stand out to me all day and then 1 simple car ride later I had a tune running through my mind.  An extraordinary girl, the simple influence herself, pointed out to me that I enjoy a lot of songs off of Get Your Heart On! which is Simple Plan's newest album.  It may be my favorite album of theirs.  I will always respect Pierre & the boys for having the ability to mature, their sound & lyrics have grown since their debut album, No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls, which came out in 2002.  I can also say I've seen Simple Plan live and let me tell you....it is no picnic.  Simple Plan fan girls are...INSANE.  Hell of a memory though!
