I've been in a very melancholy mood the past couple days, not even remotely depressed, I'm fine. Just in one of those moods where I've accepted some shitty things in my life that I often times try to repress. So I've been a bit drawn to sad songs. I maintain that this is the best "sad" song I have ever heard. The emotions pouring out of Mayday Parade in the song Terrible Things are so damn good. The desperation of being on the brink of breaking down and giving up is prevalent and often times so very relatable. The final words in the last verse are so damn powerful, I get hooked every time.
