Song(s) of the Day

     TRIPLE SONG OF THE DAY, MOTHER FUCKERS.  We here at The Blog Read by Nobody like to give MORE to our reader and here we are we 3 distinct songs of the day.  THE FIRST is Dammit by Blink-182, which was featured in the post I just published not 2 minutes ago.  You can see why it's the song of the day here.  Now then, what about those OTHER TWO SONGS?!  Well, Man or Muppet from The Muppets is one of the songs of the day because it's a kick-ass song from a fantastic movie.  Seriously, I've been obsessed with The Muppets as of late and I just bought the soundtrack from the new movie because I adore musicals and the songs from that movie.  Jason Segel is amazing in this song.  The 3rd, and quite possibly the most random song of the day ever, is Mr. Sandman by The Chordettes.  I have an explanation, I swear.  Earlier, I was watching season 3 of The Muppets on DVD with an extraordinary girl and the celebrity guest host for one particular episode was Liberace.  I then recalled a lyric that included a Liberace reference and pondered just what the heck song was I thinking of?!  With some help, I was made aware that it was from Mr Sandman!  The song I accompany with my favorite movie, Halloween.  So there ya' go, there really is a method to my madness.

Song(s) of the Day

     Life's a Happy Song may be the catchiest song in the history of ever (eat your heart out, Natasha Bedingfield) I saw The Muppets at the movie theatre for the 2nd time on a whim on Thursday with some friends and I am so ecstatic we did.  This movie DESERVED to be seen twice and I cannot wait until it's released on DVD.  I'm picking this movie up the day it becomes available.  Jason Segel has pioneered a classic.  The Muppets is one of my favorite movies of ALL-TIME.  Top 10, for sure.  I adore this movie, more than words can describe. I just feel this overwhelming sense of happiness while watching this film and I'm pretty sure I smile the entire time it's going.  The laughter never stops, which is awesome, because it's the 3rd best gift anyone can give you.  I honestly want to shake Segel's hand and simply express my gratitude towards him for spearheading such a wonderful & uplifting flick.  It's safe to say, with his roles in amazing movies like Forgetting Sarah Marshall, I Love You, Man, & Knocked Up, to being one of the leads in my favorite TV show of all-time, How I Met Your Mother, to this movie, Segel has become a huge inspiration to me, someone I definitely look up to.  He just seems like a fantastic dude.  The Muppets are timeless, simple as that.  Also, this 2nd song is just too good not to share.  Ok Go cover The Muppets theme song and it's just a blast to listen to.  The Muppets be taking over this blog, yo!  And I love it.
