The reason I keep writing these things each week is because it's a surreal way for me to look back and judge how I've been progressing through life.  Music really does score my life and my moods.  That being said, fucking Metro Station does nothing to narrate my life.  They're just terribly catchy.  Metro Station and Bone Crusher?  I don't even.

It wasn't until late Thursday night that I decided to do this post.  Really had no intentions of doing it again, but a late night in a situation that I'm all too familiar with arose.  80 GB iPod's battery being slowly drained as I listen to song after song.  I'm able to chill out and escape from everything for a little while when I lay down with my headphones on.  I've never been so good at turning off my brain, but keeping it occupied with music has always done the trick for me.

I have no idea if I'm going to do this post a week from now.  We'll see, I guess.  Life seriously needs some spoiler alerts.  Although, I'm almost always correct with my instincts anyway (and they're usually bad, but meh, you get used to it).  Either someone/thing is gonna have to prove me wrong for once (doubtful) or I'll just get used to knowing what's gonna happen well in advance.  Until then, I'll pop on my iPod and lose track of time while I write stuff.  See you next week?  Maybe.  For all none of you who read this.

This week really became centered around music on Tuesday.  There's a lot going on in my life right, more so than I'm used to.  A lot of moving parts and new things.  I'm nervous as fuck, but kind of enjoying every moment of it.  Music was there to put everything into perspective and slow things down.  Side note - it's almost impossible for me to choose just one part of the lyrics in the song Therapy.  I kind of wanted to post the entire thing.  My mind has been going a million miles a minute for over a week now.  Also, this is easily my most diverse group of musicians I've ever had in one week.  Kind of awesome, if you ask me.

Random Review (The Cabin in the Woods)

Whenever I add a new DVD/Blu-Ray to my entertainment collection, I have to restructure my Random Review list to accommodate the newcomer.  What I usually do is take the list of my inventory and randomize it all over again.  Where the new addition lands in the list is where I insert it in the original rundown.  As luck would have it, one of my new additions, The Cabin in the Woods was number three on the new list and so, by default it became my next movie to review.  Very excited about that because I loved this movie so much.  Unlike most of the movies I review on this blog, this is actually a fairly recent release.  If you haven't seen it yet, then I must warn you that my review WILL HAVE SPOILERS.  If you have any interest in seeing this, I implore you to go watch it first and then come back here!
