I suppose I can go back to doing these posts per week.  Blink-182 was probably the go-to artist for the week.  I have a song/band getting their first tally, which considering I've been doing this for over a year now, is kind of rare.  One of those songs that gets played in the background of a TV show and it really catches my attention, so I go out of my way to look it up.

After Midnight has quickly gone from not only one of my favorite Blink-182 songs, but also one of my favorite songs period.  Its 8 song of the day tallies is the most for any song.

Today was one of those days where I wished that something terrifyingly exciting would have happened.  I kinda want to be in an almost life threatening situation, like the first lyrics of After Midnight says.  Not that I wish to die or any of that, quite the opposite, I actually want to feel alive.  After Midnight used to mean a bit more to me, but it's lost some of its luster in the past half year, but still a damn good song.

     Doing the song of the day early in the afternoon is so convenient when you know you'll have a busy night and little time to write it, especially because I know I'll be uber tired.  Song of the day you may ask?  Well, you pushy fuck, it's a familiar friend once again.  After Midnight by Blink-182 notches its FOURTH tally and continues to establish itself as one of my favorite songs EVER.  Seems like Blink-182 knows they got a stellar song here, considering they recently created an awesome music video for it.
